Dr. Carey A. Girgis, D.C.
Dr. Carey A. Girgis, Chiropractic Physician, earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City, Missouri. He was the first chiropractic physician in the State of Ohio to become nationally certified in non-surgical spinal decompression through an accredited university, Parker University, Dallas, Texas. He is additionally certified in non-surgical spinal decompression therapy through National University, Lombard, IL and Life University, Marietta, GA.
In 2015, Dr. Girgis was appointed to The International Medical Advisory Board on Non-Surgical Spinal Decompression. This Board is composed of 20 physicians, including: neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, medical radiologists, chiropractic physicians, and medical physicians.
In 2015, Dr. Girgis was appointed to the MicroLight Corporation of America Medical Board. Being a pioneer in the use of cold laser therapy with non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, he joins other medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, and veterinarians who are exploring new clinical indications for the use of the ML830 Cold Laser.
In 2017, Dr. Girgis was elected vice president of the International Disc Education Association. This organization is dedicated to helping physicians and patients understand more about the intervertebral disc and treatments.
Dr. Girgis holds the advanced proficiency rating from Activator Methods, is a member of Civil Air Patrol, and is active in his local church. Recently, Dr. Girgis founded “Go To The World” and “Hands for Life – Westerville”. Both of these nonprofit organizations have the goal of helping people around the world and at home through chiropractic, medical missions, micro lending, and student loans
