Peripheral Neuropathy FAQ

Schedule Your Appointment

Is there help for my peripheral neuropathy?

Absolutely Yes! For a long time the condition of peripheral neuropathy was only treated by medications that only mask the symptoms. Most of the times these medications were not effective at all. Sometimes the medication even made the condition worse. Neuropathy is treatable and manageable. People are able to restore many functions that have been lost. As the pain, numbness, and tingling are reduced, sensation is returned, balance and quality of life are improved.

Why doesn’t the medication work?

The medications mask the symptoms and their side effects can cause additional suffering. Sometimes medications cause drowsiness, which may contribute to instability and falling. If medication becomes helpful, it is usually only for a short time, while the actual condition continues to worsen.

How long will I have treatment for my neuropathy at your office?

Treatment here is done non-surgically and without medications. The treatment is administered at our office with maximum benefits, as well as the patient having treatment at home. This allows the patient to enjoy more benefits and results. After the initial care, the supportive care is continued on a less regular basis in order to maintain the progress that was achieved and to prevent the condition from returning.
